Quick personal note — July 3rd was my birthday, which means America has been throwing me a parade every year for as long as I can remember. Very appreciated. 🎂
But here’s the thought I keep coming back to after Independence Day weekend: we celebrate the founding of this nation — but what we’re really celebrating is a group of people who decided the world wasn’t good enough and chose to build something better. No roadmap. No certainty. Just a shared mission and the courage to start.
That’s a Kiwanis story.
Every club in the Carolinas was founded by someone with that same mindset. And that founding energy doesn’t expire — it just needs someone willing to pick it back up.
This week’s challenge: think about the people who started your club. What did they believe was possible? And what would they think if they walked into your next meeting? 💙
