Club Officer Training

District training

The Carolinas District offers in person Club Leadership Education twice each year (on the Friday before both the Mid-Year Conference and District Convention). It is recommended that all incoming club officers participate in this district-led training. In addition, the District holds webinars to provide additional training. If your club wants to ask the District to consider hosting a webinar on a particular topic, contact us and we will provide your suggestion to the Education Committee.

Kiwanis International-sponsored virtual training

Kiwanis International offers virtual Club Leadership Education to supplement your district training. In 2023, Kiwanis hosted both 101 and 201 versions of this training. The 101 level is for those who are brand-new to their club role and covers the whole positional PowerPoint slide deck. The 201 level is for officers who are returning to their role and have received this training previously. This shortened version of the training provides you with a refresher and any new information for your role. Recordings of the training sessions are available on the Kiwanis International website and can be accessed by clicking on the sessions’ pictures shown below. For full screen viewing, click on the Expand Screen symbol (i.e., ) or the Vimeo symbol (i.e., ) at the bottom right of the session’s picture below.
